As the only New Mexico medical malpractice law firm, we are proud to present our undergraduate scholarship contest exclusively for nursing students in New Mexico.
As a nursing students, we want to hear from you and hear about your core values and how you plan to apply those principles and values to your nursing career.
So, what core values are most important to you, and what is your biggest success in life so far?
The attorneys at Poulos & Coates want to hear from you and tell us about which core values are most important to you and what your goals are for your nursing career.
We are looking for the most compelling story and will select one person to put $1,000 towards their education.
Essay Overview:
We want you to tell in 300 – 400 words the biggest success in life you are most proud of and which core values have benefited from that success in life. This can include, but is not limited to:
- A time you gave back to a volunteer program and what you took away from that experience;
- Charitable events that you have contributed to and why;
- A challenge or goal you set for yourself and how you achieved that success and why that is the biggest success in your life; or
Then, we will choose the most compelling essay and select one winner (1) and award them $1,000.00 to put towards their college tuition.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a nursing college or nursing degree program in New Mexico to be considered to receive the scholarship award.
- Applicants must submit the essay and other required information by July 30th, 2023.
